 Bramble Lodge:

snugly nestled in the heart of the renowned New Forest
National Park. Just 2 miles from Bransgore and Burley, both thriving villages
with plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants to sample in the area (we recommend
the newly opened The Old
Vicarage at Hinton), Bramble Lodge is a perfect location as a base to
explore the many delights of the New Forest. Not only are there superb
land-based leisure pursuits such as cycling, walking and horse riding, but also
the unsurpassed sailing waters provided by the Solent and Poole Harbour.
Stroll along the
forest road just outside and enjoy the sight of ponies, donkeys, cattle - even
pigs -
sharing the countryside. There are many species of birds to be seen - and if you
don't actually see them, you will certainly hear woodpeckers by day and owls by
night!

Bramble Lodge is literally on the doorstep of New Forest land loved by horse
riders and carriage drivers alike, and we can arrange for stabling for one horse
in our own stable if required, with convenient vehicle and horse box access
alongside Bramble Lodge. Temporary grazing can also be organised locally by
prior notification.

If using public transport, getting to us is very easy: Brockenhurst mainline
railway station and Bournemouth airport are only 15 minutes away, with
Southampton airport just a 30 minutes drive. Ringwood, 15 minutes away, is well
served by National Express coaches. We offer a pick up/drop off service for your
convenience if this helps. For local trips around the area, the Wilts & Dorset
Bus Company have direct services into the local village of Bransgore, and also
Christchurch and Ringwood. Pick up the bus at the Thorney Hill crossroads bus
stop, just 2 minutes walk away from Bramble Lodge!
